Yes! Insurance is provided through Veracity Insurance Solutions.
All pets being shipped must be accompanied by shot records and a 10-day travel health certificate. All breeders are required to fill out APHIS form 7001 in accordance with USDA regulations.
We require a 40% down payment due at booking, the remaining 60% is due at drop off. Please see our cancelation policy for refund information.
It is important to conserve space in the vehicle to allow for free movement of pets in and out during walk breaks, however, we can accommodate large items within reason for a fee. Please inquire with us ahead of time about your large items to be sure that extra space is available at the time of pick up, and that they will fit in the vehicle.
As many pets have strict or specific diets, we ask that enough food to last the trip plus one day extra be provided, preferably in a sealed container such as Ziploc bags or Rubbermaid containers to conserve space in the vehicle. Large dedicated food bins can be shipped as well for a fee. It is also a good idea to send a comfort object such as a small blanket or favorite toy. We do provide bowls, leashes, collars, carriers, and water.
Refunds on deposits are only issued in the event of a cancelation on the part of V.I.Pet Transport. We encourage you to confirm all travel plans and pre-trip vet appointments with us and the receiving party before booking.
